Former UFC Women’s Strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk has turned the tables on a journalist after he asked her what she thought of Conor McGregor’s recent behaviour.
The Dubliner will return to the Octagon for the first time in nearly two years next month when he takes on the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 on October 6.
McGregor has had a string of high profile incidents since his professional boxing debut with Floyd Mayweather Jr. last year including an attack on a UFC fighter bus in which Rose Namajunas, current UFC Women’s Strawweight champion, was shaken up from before dethroning Jedrzejczyk of her title two days later.
Jedrzejczyk refused to give a prediction on the McGregor and Nurmagomedov fight and asked a reporter to say what he thought of McGregor’s recent behaviour when he asked Jedrzejczyk for a response.
Classic example of calling people on their bullshit. Well done @joannamma. One of the reasons she is admired by so many. pic.twitter.com/5Ow4pKEXLP

“What you want to insult Conor McGregor here?” Jedrzejczyk asked.
“You want to insult him? Okay come here. What do you think about him? Come on be honest.”
Jedrzejczyk asked the reporter why he wanted to insult McGregor which led to an awkward exchange and what ultimately proved to be the final question of her media scrum backstage at UFC Fight Night 136 in Moscow, Russia.
