They were filming a scene for an upcoming film.
Actor Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor McGregor filmed a scene at the UFC 285 weigh-in Friday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The pair were filming an upcoming film called ‘Road House’, a remake of a 1989 movie.
In the scene, Gyllenhall weighed in before standing face-to-face with former UFC fighter Jay Hieron. The American actor, 42, slapped Hieron in the face before they were split up. Dana White, the UFC president, was also in the scene.

McGregor, who is due to appear in the film, soon appeared on stage. The Irish MMA fighter, 34, will make his acting debut in the ‘Road House’ remake.
McGregor, who has not fought in the UFC since losing to Dustin Poirier in July 2021, also greeted Jon Jones, who will headline UFC 285.
Jones faces Ciryl Gane in the main event in Las Vegas on Saturday night, his first UFC bout in three years, with the UFC heavyweight belt on the line.
