It's fair to say that Colby "Chaos" Covington seems to have a massive beef with Ireland's Cathal Pendred
Covington was unimpressed with Pendred's contentious victory over Sean Spencer in Boston last weekend. Pendred was given the unanimous decision victory over Spencer at Fight Night 59, with the judges scoring the bout 29-28, 30-27, 30-27 in favour of the Punisher.
The result of the fight worked the Covington into so much of a frenzy that he felt the need to call out the Dubliner on Twitter.

The American welterweight then turned his attention to the entire SBG contingent in the UFC, calling into question their abilities as mixed martial artists, before having another pop at Pendred.

Pendred finally broke his silence last night, responding to Covington's trash-talking. The American then went to town on the Dubliner over the Boston fight again, implying that the former Cage Warriors champion is only in the UFC because of the popularity of Conor McGregor.
While Pendred decided to hold his tongue, "Chaos" tweeted an endless slew of insults directed at Pendred for a few hours.

Not content with merely offending Pendred, Covington took aim at the entire country of Ireland and its diaspora. The tweet was deleted after causing a furore on social media but not before the Twitterati could get a screenshot.
Covington contested that his Irish heritage gave him carte blanche to send thee tasteless tweet.
