Holly Holm put in a perfect performance in the main event of UFC 193 to dethrone Ronda Rousey and become the new UFC women’s bantamweight champion.
Holm completely outclassed Rousey on the feet in the first round, She proved that Rousey was a mere mortal by causing Rousey to bleed a little from her mouth due to continuous counter punches to the head as Rousey rushed forward.
Not long after getting the fight back standing from a Rousey takedown, Holm scored a takedown of her own towards the end of the opening round.
She finished the fight with a huge head kick knockout that rendered Rousey unconscious early in the second round.
Holm improved her record to 10-0 with the win, while Rousey received her first loss and is now 11-1 in professional MMA.
