The UFC 187 poster has been updated, and Daniel Cormier seems more than a little content to be getting another title shot.
One of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time, Jon Jones is out of the headline bout at UFC 187.
The former light heavyweight champion had his belt revoked and was banned indefinitely from the UFC after being arrested over a hit-and-run incident in which a pregnant woman suffered a broken arm.
Dana White announced last night that top light heavyweight contenders Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson will now slug it out for the vacant golden strap in the main event at UFC 187.
A change in the lineup of the card means of course that the official poster for the event will require a slight modification. Luckily, a fan has made one that should be a more than adequate replacement for the original.
UFC middleweight contender Luke Rockhold, who will be keeping a close eye on the co-main event between Chris Weidman and Vitor Belfort, shared an updated version of the poster via Twitter. The former Strikeforce champion and training partner of Daniel Cormier seemingly found the new poster in eaual parts amusing and confusing.
