Frankie Edgar is desperate to ensure that he is next in line for a shot at the UFC featherweight title
Having already volunteered to step in should either Jose Aldo or Conor McGregor fail to answer the bell for their clash at UFC 194 in December, Edgar is determined to ensure that nobody jumps the line for the first crack at whoever emerges from the MGM Grand with the belt.
With Max Holloway calling out Edgar and also mooting a potential rematch against McGregor, who beat the Hawaii native on points in their first bout, Edgar has been quick to accept the challenge, suggesting the pair throw down at the finale of TUF 22 finale the day before UFC 194.
Edgar is keen to be booked in that weekend regardless of the opposition, with Jeremy Stephens also suggesting he should fight the current No.2 ranked fighter in the division.
I got called out by max holloway and Jeremy Stephens. I will fight either on dec 11 Let's make it happen @danawhite @lorenzofertitta @ufc
