We’re at a loss now that Anthony Johnson has hung up his gloves for good.
The two-time UFC light heavyweight title challenger call time on his spectacular career after being submitted by Daniel Cormier in the second round of UFC 210’s main event.
Rumble shocked the world with the announcement that the loss would be last time he would be seen inside the Octagon. The crowd inside the arena, who were clearly behind the knockout monster, fell silent as he took the mic to give his interview before the victor.

One of the last thank yous he gave was to veteran UFC commentator Mike Goldberg.
“I have to say one more thing, big shout out to my boy Goldie. He wasn’t here and I wanted him to be here for my last fight, but Mike, I love you, baby.”
Goldberg, who’s time with the promotion ended after 20 years of loyal service when his contract wasn’t renewed in December, heard the message and he has responded with a beautiful tribute to arguably the most terrifying knockout artist in the history of the sport.
Making a living isn't life, lifelong friendships are what we live for, my bond w @Anthony_Rumble is unbreakable, built on all that is right!
