Ever since Conor McGregor mentioned ‘Tim and Suzie’, last week, the search has been on for their identity.
Upon making his non retirement statement, McGregor declared:
“Sitting in a car on the way to some dump in Conneticut or somewhere, to speak to Tim and Suzie on the nobody gives a fuck morning show did not get me this life.”
A very solid frame of thought is that Tim and Suzie are nebulous – two composite, fawning morning show TV hosts. McGregor has pulled out random names in the past to make a point – He called Rafael Dos Anjos’ children Donald and Bob where, in fact, they are really Gustavo and Rafael.
However, a cancelled morning show TV appearance, for today has suggested Tim and Suzie could indeed be Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan.
McGregor was due to appear on ‘Kelly and Michael’ today, to discuss UFC 200.
Now that McGregor is in a promotion and publicity stand-off, he was pulled from the show.
To take McGregor’s place, actress Jamie Alexander has been drafted in. What her knowledge of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and spinning back kicks is, we don’t know.
One thing is for sure, more McGregor-fuelled TV gold was missed.
