Definitive proof that Conor McGregor is “ruler of the numbers”

These numbers don't lie

The King stay the King.

Conor McGregor has been about numbers a hell of a lot lately. At the recent UFC GO BIG event, McGregor made the claim that he was the undisputed king of the numbers i.e. he draws the biggest PPVs, he draws the most eyes on him and more importantly, he earns the most substantial pay cheques.

The Notorious made an appearance on a special 300th episode of the MMA Hour this week and guess what? He brought up his new favourite topic yet again, saying that he “should have (his) hand in the pie” for the “offspring numbers that UFC Dublin will generate, because the event is attached to his name.

The interim UFC featherweight champion didn’t just talk about being “ruler of the numbers,” he backed it up.

First up on the show was UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier. 1985 people tuned in to watch DC’s segment.

People were less interested in what former light heavyweight and middleweight contender Chael Sonnen had to say.

Once everyone was done ignoring Chael, interest began to pick up as Quinton “Rampage” Jackson made his anticipated return to the MMA Hour.

The always entertaining Matt Serra proved to be a decent draw as well.

However, once McGregor hit the screen, the viewing figures skyrocketed.

These figures dropped when star of double-Oscar nominated film Under Siege (not making that up, Google it), Steven Seagal came on.

And they held pretty steady for nutritionist of the fighters, Mike Dolce.
