When he brings in the kind of money that Conor McGregor does, it’s no surprise that ‘The Notorious’ would feature in both of Dana White’s dream fights.
White isn’t convinced that McGregor is legitimately retired and he has revealed the two fights that most excite him as a promoter during an interview with LasVegasNOW.com.
The UFC President has revealed that, in an ideal world, he would love to set up rematches of McGregor’s two most recent defeats.
White stated that he would be eager to see Floyd Mayweather cross over to mixed martial arts for an unlikely clash with ‘The Notorious’ and he is also keen to see UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov run it back with McGregor.

While White believes he will be able to resolve whatever issue McGregor has with a conversation in the near future, he has no plans to meet McGregor’s demands for shares in the UFC.
“Listen, who gets respected more than Conor McGregor does? Come on,” White said. “The guy’s never been disrespected, definitely not by me. And he’s got a lot of money too.
“But he’s stuck on this thing where he wants a piece of the ownership and that’s just — if you look at basketball, Michael Jordan didn’t own a piece of the league, and the list goes on and on. Is Conor very valuable to the sport and to the brand, the UFC? Of course he is. That’s a tough one, but I think there’s other ways that we can make him happy.”
