Dana wasn’t happy with how the main event ended.
Cowboy Cerrone got back to winning ways in Pittsburgh last night with a superb submission but UFC boss Dana White was more concerned with calling out the fight’s referee.
Cerrone was looking to bounce back from his lightweight title match defeat at the hands of Rafael dos Anjos in December as he moved up to welterweight to take on Alex Oliveira on the Fight Night 83 card.
And Cowboy put on a show, getting the Brazilian to tap out to a triangle submission hold in the first round.
However, UFC president Dana White was quick to make his feelings on the finish known, criticising referee Mario Yamasaki for his failure to end the fight on time.
Oliveira can be seen to tap out on Cerrone’s chest, but Yamasaki failed to step in until Cerrone actually pointed to the tap himself, leaving White to give the official both barrels on Twitter.
10 taps before Yamasaki stops it after @Cowboycerrone tells him!!! And he was looking right at it……WOW!!!!! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
