Poor Daniel Cormier.
It is as if Jon Jones’ existence has just been the ultimate hindrance to Cormier’s UFC career.
Twice the pair have fought and twice Daniel Cormier has lost to the pound for pound king of the UFC.
But when it came out that Jon Jones tested positive for a steroid it caused the MMA world to go into a whirlwind.
Daniel Cormier has been very much quiet since but posted on his Instagram account.

The 38-year-old has been through this before when his fight with Jones was cancelled just days before UFC 200 when Jones tested positive and his reaction was as expected, utter disbelief and disappointment.
The fighter was speaking on the latest episode of the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani to discuss the fallout of the whole  Jones situation detailed how the phone call went down with UFC President Dana White.
“I heard the end of Chael (Sonnen’s) segment and he said you could tell that Dana (White) was a bit upset because it looked like he was hurt for Conor,” Cormier told Helwani referring to McGregor losing to Floyd Mayweather.
“And I think, in regards to me, I felt that same way it was like I cannot believe I have to make this call to this guy again. And I felt the sincerity and I felt him a bit sad because he always says things to me like ‘Man, you’re a good guy, you’re in this sport it’s crazy but I have to tell you something’ and I’m like ‘What?’ and he was like ‘Jones’ sample was positive’ and I’m like ‘Wow’.
“But he said to me exactly what he said to the media, ‘If he tested dirty you’re the champion. The result can’t be the same if he tests positive for a steroid before the fight’ I guess that’s what may happen, I don’t know. I haven’t really thought about it because it opens up a whole other can of worms,” Cormier finished.
