Deja vú for Cub Swanson.
The featherweight fighter was among the millions who took time last night to tune in to see Conor McGregor take a swipe at Jose Aldo’s chin and connect.
The Irishman finished the UFC title contest inside 13 seconds and for Swanson, the bout, and the manner of the win, reminded him of his own contest with the now former champion.
Swanson faced Aldo in 2009 and lasted all of seven seconds as the Brazilian hit him with with a flying knee from the bell.
So the American wasn’t a bit surprised when the former champion went down in a similar fashion last night at the left hand of ‘The Notorious’
That reminded me of my fight with Aldo. He wanted it so bad, he was blind 😳 #UFC194

The 32-year-old is claiming that that Aldo’s blind rage was the cause of his defeat.
We’re not so sure, but the evidence from his own fight is certainly an interesting talking point.
