The Notorious was inundated with tweets, tags, posts and messages after he claimed the UFC interim belt with a TKO win over Chad Mendes.
The man who had his name Googled over a million times, on Saturday, claims he will take it extremely handy for a few weeks before launching into his coaching role in The Ultimate Fighter 22.
Before he went completely dark, however, McGregor took time out to reply to congratulatory tweets from two of his icons,
John Kavanagh, McGregor’s coach, is back in Ireland after 10 weeks away and is straight back to it.

McGregor’s SBG teammate Paddy Hoolahan has been talking about UFC 189 ahead of his own Fight Night bout in Glasgow.
‘Everybody’s getting on-board and they all believe [McGregor] now,’ he declared.
