Nothing changes for Conor McGregor.
He can’t control whether featherweight champion Jose Aldo has a fractured rib or not, so he is back in training to prepare for a July 11th fight no matter who it is against. McGregor tweeted this picture out earlier and didn’t indicate whether or not the Brazilian has definitely been ruled out, although all the reports say he has been.
Just know that it is business as usual up here at the top. See you all on July 11th. pic.twitter.com/WXGPRFWj0y

At least McGregor is basically saying that even if Aldo cannot compete, the travelling Irish fans will still get to see their man in action in Las Vegas. Perhaps featherweight rival Frankie Edgar could step in at short notice, although the last man to beat McGregor, Joseph Duffy, has already offered his services.
