Conor McGregor blasts his rivals as “b*tches” too afraid to fight him after UFC 196

Patience is a virtue.

But it’s not one that you normally associate with Conor McGregor, as the Dubliner appears to be in a hurry to get to the very top of the ‘fight game’ as he calls it in MMA.

The 27-year is just over 72 hours out from his showdown with Nate Diaz at UFC 196 in Las Vegas, but is relaxed about where he will go next after the fight.

The UFC featherweight champion has been tipped to fight Franke Edgar at UFC 200 this summer, but speaking after his open workout ahead of Saturday fight, he admits he’s happy to wait and see who fancies a crack off him next.

The Drimnagh native called out his rivals to make themselves known to the UFC if they want to face him in an octagon. However ‘The Notorious’ is not impressed by any challengers he sees right now.

“I don’t see nothing appealing.  They need to build themselves up right now. I’m sitting pretty up here, they need to fight and make some noise. Make me stand up and say, “Ok, I’ll take him in”.

“That’s what I need to see because right now I see nothing. A bunch of complainers. When have I ever waited? I have never waited once. Even now, title shot’s gone, did I wait, no,

“That’s what champions do, that’s what generates interest. I’m a hungry moutherf**ker who does not care who is in his way. I just see a lot of crying complaining babies right now. I’ll take Nate out and I’ll see and I’ll wait and see who pops out.

“Right now a lot of bitches if you ask me.”

McGregor was put through his paces at last night’s workouts where he looked to be in fine shape as he moved and sparred with Ido Portal.

And you thought @TheNotoriousMMA was coming to your pool party to swim… #UFC196
