Conor McGregor has really landed himself in it this time. Luckily, the Notorious came to his senses and quickly deleted the tweet and issued an apology.
Irish UFC superstar has found himself in hot water over an offensive tweet. McGregor posted a photo of his staredown with Dennis Siver, his opponent for UFC Fight Night Boston, at the UFC’s Time Is Now event last night. However, the poster boy of Irish MMA will be the first to admit that he went a little bit too far with his caption for the photo of the German.
He has since tweeted an apology for causing any offence, and then continued his trash-talking in true McGregor fashion.

McGregor quickly deleted the initial tweet soon after it caused a furore among the mixed martial arts community on social media. However, we’ve got a screenshot of it below.
