Not a day goes by without Conor McGregor hitting the MMA headlines.
The newly crowned interim featherweight champion has been unveiled as one of the coaches on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter.
UFC president Dana White broke the news during the broadcast of The Ultimate Fighter Season 21 Finale, less than 24 hours after The Notorious earned his latest victory via TKO over Chad Mendes in the main event of UFC 189.
This season will be based on a Europe vs America format and it’s the Dubliner who takes control of Team Europe.
McGregor will coach opposite Mendes’ teammate Urijah Faber which will feature the lightweight division but the fighters, who clashed during the weigh-ins for UFC 189, will not fight at the end of the season.

The season premieres on September 9th and it makes sense for the UFC to draft in their biggest draw to attempt to revive the reality show whose popularity has waned in recent years.
Never a dull moment, eh?
