This is not the first time that Weidman v Belfort has been delayed as the fight had been slated for UFC 181 in December before the undefeated Weidman broke his hand which pushed the fight back two months.
And it now seems, with his latest injury, that we won't see the New Yorker defend his belt for the third time until April or May.
The February 28th card will now be headlined by a women's bantamweight title fight between Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano.
