Chris Fields is the latest SBG fighter to receive some good news from the MMA world after being signed to British MMA promotion BAMMA.
The Dubliner holds a professional record of 10-5-1 but, after an indifferent experience on The Ultimate Fighter 19, Chris “The Killing” Fields is looking to get his fight career back on track closer to home.
The Dublin middleweight told BAMMA’s official website: “I’m looking forward to putting my shin on some guys chin for all the BAMMA fans.
“They should expect the best version of me that’s ever existed. I’m always searching for the finish!”
We haven’t seen Fields with a professional fight since a draw with Norman Paraisy  at Cage Warriors 55 in June 2013 but the date of his next outing has been announced for February 21st 2015, against Cheick Kone.
Kone, a French power puncher, is currently on a 4 fight win streak and is coming off the back of consecutive knockouts over German contender Benjamin Brinsa and Finland’s Timo Suhonen.
Well it looks like February 21st on @BAMMA is the time I start throwing these big go go gadget legs around the place again.
