The identity of Cathal Pendred’s opponent at UFC Dublin this October has been revealed and it’s another tough task for the Irish welterweight
English fighter Tom Breese will be standing opposite the Dubliner on October 24 at the 3 Arena, putting his undefeated MMA record of 8-0 on the line on the undercard to the main event featuring lightweight Joseph Duffy and American Dustin Poirier.
It will be just the second UFC fight for Breese, who ended his first appearance against Luiz Jorge Dutra in the first-round earlier this year and is a training partner of Duffy at Tristar Gym in Montreal in Canada.
Pendred, 27, will be looking to get back to winning ways after suffering his first defeat in the UFC at UFC 189.
