Cage Warriors will return to Ireland for the first time in over two years when they return to the Cork Neptune Arena on Saturday, November 9.
The organisation announced the news on their website with Cage Warriors President Graham Boylan confirming that the organisation want to offer a platform for Irish talent to climb their way up the ladder in mixed martial arts.
“Our mission hasn’t changed,” Boylan said in a statement. “We’re coming back to offer the top talent in Ireland a chance to shine and showcase their skills to the world.
“Wherever you are in Ireland, wherever you train, you can find a home at Cage Warriors. We’re open to working with everyone and want the guys that are hungry. If you’re willing to give everything, we provide the platform to get you to the top.”
Cage Warriors’ last Irish appearance came in March 2017 when headliner and former champion Karl Moore defeated Josh Clark at the 3Arena in Dublin.
Cage Warriors has previously featured the likes of former UFC two-weight champion Conor McGregor, Joe Duffy, Neil Seery, Paul Redmond, Chris Fields and Cathal Pendred.
The organisation also noted that they plan to return with a number of shows across Ireland over the coming years.
