“Stacked” doesn’t do this card justice.
It looks like the UFC have finally set the running order for their “card of the year” contender on December 12.
We already knew that it was headlined by Jose Aldo vs Conor McGregor for the featherweight championship, and that the middleweight title fight between Chris Weidman and Luke Rockhold would serve as the co-main, but it looks like the main card has been finalised.
As suspected, the middleweight title eliminator between Jacare Souza and Yoel Romero is third from the top of the bill, but the big news from an Irish perspective is that honorary Irishman Gunnar Nelson gets a main card slot for his scrap against number six-ranked welterweight Demien Maia.
A featherweight scrap between rising star Max Holloway and Jeremy Stephens completes the main card.
