BJ Penn badly wants another fight, but the universe seems to be conspiring against him.
The former lightweight and welterweight champion was set to come back from retirement at UFC 199, but his return to the Octagon is up in the air after scheduled opponent Dennis Siver withdrew from the event.
It is unknown at this stage whether Penn will remain on the card or if the fight will just be scrapped entirely, but SBG fighter Artem Lobov knows a guy who can step in for Siver and give Penn the scrap he’s been waiting for.
The Russian Hammer called out the legendary fighter on Twitter, offering to fight Penn and give half of his purse to charity.
@bjpenndotcom If you let me fight you I will donate 50% of my purse to charity…Lets have a fight and help those in need!!! @ufc #Legend

Penn will be looking to add another to the win column at UFC 199 after he went on a run of 1-5-1 in his last seven fights, including a trilogy of losses to Frankie Edgar.
Lobov (11-2-1-1) could also do with a positive result after losing both his bouts under the UFC banner, dropping decisions to Ryan Hall and Alex White.
