The Notorious and Arnold Schwarzenegger have a mutual respect for each other and have both spoken warmly about the other’s best attributes in interviews.
However, the latest snaps from the McGregor camp show the Hollywood actor has taken a real shine to the Irish MMA star.
McGregor and Schwarzenegger met up backstage at UFC 187, on Saturday night, and looked absolutely chuffed to see each other.
They posed for several photos, with McGregor unfurling an Irish tricolour and Schwarzenegger bringing in his son, Patrick, for snaps.
Following the fights, which ended with Daniel Cormier’s victory over Anthony Johnson, the pair made plans to catch up at McGregor’s Las Vegas mansion, which is serving as his training and media opp. base.
