Bad craic.
Wednesday’s racing at Leopardstown has been called off following an early morning inspection.
Heavy overnight rain forced officials to carry out a check at 8.30am and they determined that conditions were not suitable for racing.
The Leopardstown Racecourse account tweeted shortly after 9am: “Following greater overnight rainfall than anticipated and with further rain this morning, parts of the track have been left unfit for racing with no improvement expected.”

As you can imagine, with it being Student Race Day, it has left students furious at the short-notice cancellation.
Start firing out the refunds there

Does that mean all the students can still attend the event but there just won't be any horse racing?
