Noel Meade’s mount burst through the field to win by one-and-a-half lengths
Road to Riches secured the feature on the third day of Leopardstown with an impressive ride from Bryan Cooper in the Lexus Chase.
The hoped for contest between Bob’s Worth and Boston Bob never materialised while Lord Windermere found the going hard and was at the back of the field for much of the three-mile trip.
Road to Riches made the early running along with On His Own and Sam Winner with Boston Bob struggling towards the back of the field along with the Davy Russell mount.
On His Own held a three-length lead seven from home but Road to Riches was always in the mix and coming over the last Cooper had his mount ideally positioned to power through Paul Townend and Sam Twiston-Davies to secure an impressive win.
