Eventful day.
Tiger Woods has withdrawn from the Farmer’s Insurance Open in California, complaining of back paid.
The American was on his 12th hole, on 2 over par when he pulled out.
It makes sense though because his start to the day initially had us thinking that he was having us on. His first hole saw him produce a God-awful bogey courtesy of this bizarre chip shot.
We can only think that he was trying to land the ball directly in the hole, touching no grass along the way.
It’s alright though because he briefly showed there is still a bit of magic left in that swing of his and he redeemed himself on the 11th.
That’s more like it.
But in the next hole, Woods called it quits.
Tiger withdraws from @FarmersInsOpen. His back's so bad he couldn't even pick up his own tee. http://t.co/3cY6SrhMsy https://t.co/UZBnTzodi4
