McDowell miscued his tee shot on the seventh during the final round of the RSM Classic hit and it went sailing into the fans.
He got a seriously lucky break when the ball hit off a fan's ankle and bounced back into the fairway. However, the fan who was struck was none other than Christy Kisner, the mother of the man who was leading the pack at the time.
It's important to note that Mrs Kisner was completely fine after being hit by the ball.
