Crafty…
Whatever your opinion about foxes is – and it’s divided in this office, we’ve checked – you probably should never let them freely snoop around your bag.
A group of golfers from Leeds learnt that the hard way – instead of just presuming it – when one Irish fox tried to set off with a wallet at County Louth Golf Course.
It was nowhere near as bad as the stupidest man on the planet who started provoking an alligator on a golf course in America a while back.
But it was almost enough to lose your wallet and all its possessions and have to return home with that story, that a fox stole it. Whilst you were recording him stealing it.
The animal appears in the Baltray area and heads straight for a nosy around the golf back. It seems to know exactly what it’s doing too as it works its way in to find the wallet before attempting to sprint off when it got what it came for.
Only then do the lads realise that this mightn’t have been the best idea.
4 lads from Leeds, what an amazing experience at Baltray. So friendly and championship links. @CountyLouthGC pic.twitter.com/Jqr3bdDczG
