Sportsmanship is alive and well in the good walk spoiled.
Jason Day’s sublime performance at the 2015 PGA Championship secured him his first major victory. His great showing throughout the tournament saw him broke a record as he became the first golfer to score -20 in a major.
Jordan Spieth, who’s own incredible showing at Whistling Straits may have been overshadowed slightly by the majestic Day, but his -17 was enough to see him surpass Rory McIlroy to become the new world number one.
Rory McIlroy, who finished 17th at -9 epitomised class as he congratulated both golfers for their great achievements on Twitter.
2 inevitable things happened today, @JDayGolf winning a major and @JordanSpieth getting to 1 in the world! Congrats guys!! Inspiring stuff!

Former world number one Tiger Woods, who saw his record of -19 at a major beaten by Day at Whistling Straits also sent his congrats to the champ and Spieth on Twitter.
Game over, very happy for Jason. Great dude and well deserved. Hats off to Jordan, incredible season. Calling it early.
