A virtual tour of the new Páirc Uí Chaoimh has been released, and it looks absolutely brilliant.
The Cork venue is currently under construction and is due to open in June. It will hold 45,000 fans on match days.
The stadium will also benefit Ireland’s bid for the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Whether Munster needs another stadium with is debatable, as the province already has stadia in Semple, Limerick, and Killarney.
However, there’s no denying Páirc Uí Chaoimh will be a very impressive facility when work is complete this summer.
The stadium won’t be completed in time for Cork’s clash against Tipperary in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship.
