The most Irish-looking Irishman in the U.S.A.
Didn’t Aidan O’Shea do us all proud on The Toughest Trade last night?
The Breaffy man hustled and harried with the best of them as he took part in an NFL combine for collegiate American footballers.
Before he headed along for his day of destiny, as part of The Toughest Trade, O’Shea commented, “At the end of the day, I play the game that I love. Obviously, if someone came and offered me a contract to play in the NFL, it might be a different story. It’s such a massive sport.”
Preparing for the combine was a test in itself, as the Mayo forward studied stick, branch and corner routes, and many more.
Upon rocking up, in Houston, O’Shea was asked to step in front of the cameras to get a snap of his physique.
By God, O’Shea was every inch, every hair, the Irishman. An Irishman, we must add, in better shape than most.

Time to go and O’Shea did not disappoint. “You’ve only got one shot, one opportunity, and if you miss it, you miss it,” he declared.
O’Shea failed to hold onto a couple of throws but latched onto a good few, including this stunner:
The praise for O’Shea, across social media, was fulsome.
