Frank Burns, you sly dog you.
Remember David Beckham’s curler against Tottenham during Manchester United’s treble-winning season of 1999?
Yes or no, here you have it.
The GAA equivalent was scored by Burns, earlier this month, in a clash between his Connemara Gaels and St Christopher’s, in Boston.
Burns threw off his marker with a hefty shoulder barge before setting himself for a pop at the sticks.
The Christopher’s goalkeeper was positioned on his line but Burns, from 25 metres out, backed himself. To the hilt.
The goal was crucial in Gaels seeing off a tough challenge and securing a 2-13 to 0-15 win.
