You have to get up very early to try and fool the townsfolk in Portlaoise.
The locals in the Laois town are gearing up for yet county final this afternoon and are looking for a ninth title in-a-row incredibly as they face Emo in the showpiece in O’Moore Park at 5.15.
The former club of Colm ‘Wooly’ Parkinson are one of the most successful in the country, and are sure to have massive support for this afternoon’s encounter.
But it seems that one man in the county town tried to do a little bit of sabotage on a local pub this morning which was spotted by this eagle eyed Portlaoise supporter.
Has Stapo Brown switched sides! 8.30am on Main Street this morning!!! We’re still supporting the town though! #9inarowtime!

Word obviously got around the locals fairly quickly as just a few minutes later, someone we can only imagine is the pub owner or one of his friends, decided they could not have a sign above the door and got their own ladder out to take it down
Didn’t last too long!!! #CallForBackUp #BringALadder
