Do you take it from the hands, or is it better to place it on the ground?

The AIB GAA Club Championship is in full swing across the country as players from clubs in every corner of the country look to earn themselves a shot at glory and Croke Park next year.

And crucial to any sides hopes is an accurate free-taker.

A man who under pressure, 25 yards out, almost on the sideline, can swing it over as easy as if he was playing in his own backyard.

Killarney Legion and Kerry great James O’Donoghue and Parnells clubman and Mayo legend Conor Mortimer are two men who know how to sail a ball over the black spot from a variety of distances.

So we decided that we’d put them to the test to see who could be crowed our ultimate free-kick taker supreme.

But we weren’t gong to make it easy for them with different angles, and different distances could the Mayo man finally get one over on his Kingdom opponent?
