Hot on the heels of David Bentley’s exploits in GAA, Jackie Tyrrell is having a go at professional baseball
Former England international David Bentley surprised us all when he made a scoring debut for Crossmaglen Rangers the other week. Bentley was taking part in a TV show called The Toughest Trade where he would swap lives, and sporting careers, with Cross player Aaron Kernan.
The former Armagh star went to Sunderland, and we got to see a glimpse of his soccer life too.
But the show doesn’t end with the two lads. It will also feature Kilkenny’s Jackie Tyrrell having a lash at baseball in Miami while former New York Met Brian Schneider is coming over to Ireland to play some hurling.
Now we have the first sneak peek at how Tyrrell is getting on and while his swing looks pretty good to us, the camera is not going to survive the week if he keeps this up.
