That is how proud Dubliner Conor McGregor ended up bumping into the Cork footballers at the airport.
McGregor is preparing for his rematch with Nate Diaz after suffering the first defeat of his UFC career to the Californian, while the Rebels are looking to bounce back from relegation to Division 2 of the Allianz National League.
Judging by these videos from McGregor’s Instagram page, everyone is in fine fettle.
McGregor is probably right too, Cork do not look up to beating his native Dubs right now.
