Looks like some atmosphere in Portlaoise today
The AIB GAA Club Championship football semi-final between Austin Stacks and Slaughtneil is taking place today and it looks like both sides have brought massive support to Portlaoise.
Our man Conán Doherty is present and sent us this video of the Kerry club’s fans marching proudly towards O’Moore Park, with a Garda escort no less.

Slaughtneil have brought large numbers down from Derry for the big occasion themselevs, and with the winners earning a trip to Croke Park to take on Corofin on St Patrick’s Day, they had a big welcome in store for their players too.
