By the end of this day they will be saying Austin Gleeson was inside his own 14-yard-line.
But we’ll take a stab at saying the Waterford hurler was well inside his own 65 metre line for a match winning free this afternoon against Tipperary.
Gleeson struck late to hand the Deise a crucial win over their neighbours in Semple Stadium, in a thrilling Allianz hurling league clash that ended 1-18 to 1-17.

That looks like along way out to us, but it’s not until you see the video that you fully appreciate the monster distance covered by Gleeson’s puck.
And then a few seconds after the game, Gleeson showed his humble side by signing autographs and posing for pictures for dozens of young fans.
