Not this time.

Fair play to Tipperary GAA and O’Neill’s for having the stones to do this.

Ahead of the championship summer, the Premier County are set to unveil a new jersey and one that’s good enough for All-Ireland champions.

As flagged by Jackie Cahill earlier this week, Tipp will don a new jersey in Sunday’s Allianz Leagues [NHL] final against Galway. The players, naturally, get first dibs with fans able to buy the new kit from next Friday.

Before we embrace the future, let’s bid farewell to the 2016/17 jersey:

It was a joy to behold and brought Tipp some Liam MacCarthy success.

But the new jersey, as shared by GAA journalist Shane Stapleton, looks the number. There’s something a bit more casual about it. Something flecky too…

The sponsor’s logo looks a bit busy but it’s a decent offering.

Likeness to this Real Madrid number from a couple of seasons ago.
