Final reckoning.
14 down, one to go and the best club hurling team of all-time is really starting to take shape.
Thanks to you, we’ve been able to assemble a phenomenal-looking outfield so far, having most recently decided upon the three men to make up one of the best full-back lines you’ll ever see.
After a competitive vote, you whittled down the eight men competing for places to the three who made the cut; Ollie Canning of Portumna and Galway, Phil ‘Fan’ Larkin of James Stephens and Kilkenny and Joe Errity of Birr and Offaly.
There’s only one piece missing in the jigsaw and that’s arguably the craziest man in any hurling team: the goalkeeper.
Some of the finest ‘keepers in the history of the game have won All-Irelands at club level as well as distinguishing themselves at county level and, as has been the case all throughout the selection process, the only stipulation was that these players had to win an All-Ireland with their clubs.
