The Sunday Game names its Hurling Team of the Year

SportsJOE

Let the debates begin.

The Sunday Game’s team of pundits have picked their Hurling team of the year for 2024. Unsurprisingly Clare lead the way as All-Ireland champions and they’re closely followed by Cork who more than played their part in a terrific summer of hurling.

In the end, they were unlucky to come up just short after a thrilling finale played in front of a capacity crowd in Croke Park. Inspired by the genius of Tony Kelly, Shane O’Donnell and co. Clare lifted their first All-Ireland in eleven years.
