New Mayo manager Stephen Rochford is not even a week in the job yet officially but he’s already done a serious round of media interviews.
The former Crossmolina player has appeared in print, on radio and television, and now he’s concluded a very entertaining AIB GAA Q+A on Twitter, where he was asked various questions about his career, his biggest regret and of course Mayo demi-god Ciaran McDonald.

And Mayo fans didn’t take long to get down to the serious business of questioning Rochford about one of the county’s greatest pipe laying heroes
Rochford was then asked about his biggest regrets in his GAA career
The bank official ranks a Galway football legend, Ciaran Fitzgerald, as the best player he’s ever worked with.
But Rochford clearly has a serious love for his former clubmate.
The new Mayo boss also claered up some confusion over his answer to a question over Liam McHale’s dismissal in the 1996 All-Ireland final replay.

Rochford might also have found himself a new squad panelist
While we can all rule out the chance of seeing a player-manager type role for the 37-year-old in 2016.
And there was some serious football questions too from eager Mayo fans.
