We really wanted to see the end result.
The Golden State Warriors continued their good form with a comprehensive 127-107 victory over the Detroit Pistons at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.
The winning of the game was in the number of three-pointers the Warriors made. The Warriors shot 15 three-pointers to the Pistons’ six.
Kevin Durant scored a game-high 25 points, with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson hot on his heels with a haul of 24 points and 23 points, respectively. It was the latter two who made for some interesting viewing during the Warriors’ warm-up before the game.
In the video below, it looks like Curry is doing his best impersonation of Dublin forward Charlie Redmond’s infamous free-kicks…
Either Curry was re-enacting the free-kick routine of the Dublin legend or that of Irish rugby star Johnny Sexton. Decide for yourself from the clips and footage.
Line up the ball with your target – CheckÂ
Take two steps back – CheckÂ
Two steps to the side – CheckÂ
Klay Thompson steals the ball – Erm…Check
Curry hastily takes another kick soon after but unfortunately not with the same level of meticulous preparation.
We think the outcome would have been better.
