Brian Cody’s Kilkenny have been drawn to face Limerick in the Round 1 hurling draw. This will be a repeat of the 2014 All-Ireland semi-final where Kilkenny defeated the Treaty by two points.
All-Ireland champions Tipperary will face Westmeath in Round One of the All-Ireland SHC qualifiers but Kilkenny against Limerick is the standout fixture.
Confirmation of venues, times and dates for all fixtures will be confirmed following a meeting of the CCCC this afternoon.
