It’s a great time to be alive if you’re a Rossie. With back to back promotions to Division 1 of the League, a Division 2 title, and an absolute heap of optimism heading into the Championship, a song was surely only around the corner.
Well Roscommon band The Sun Seekers have responded in style with this particularly trendy little ditty.
Admittedly, I haven’t the slightest bit of knowledge about music, but there was quite a bit of toe tapping going on under my desk as I listened to it, so that can only be good.
It also cantains some Marty Morrissey commentary in the opening seconds, so clearly that makes it even better.
You may as well put a tenner on Roscommon to win Sam now. You’ll only regret not doing it come September.
