What a weekend.

It was time for the provincial finals in Connacht, Munster and Ulster.

There were also the Leinster semi-finals too.

Corofin and Castlebar Mitchels went toe to toe in Tuam to see who would be crowned Connacht champions with the two sides winning the last four titles between them.

Colm Cooper’s Dr Crokes were looking to successfully defend their Munster crown against 15-time winners Nemo Rangers and Slaughtneil were playing Cavan Gaels in the Ulster final.

There was also Colm O’Rourke’s Simonstown from Meath facing John Heslin’s St Loman’s and Rathnew, the giant killers that knocked out St.Vincent’s playing Moorefield of Kildare.

It wasn’t to be for Dr Crokes as they went down to Nemo in convincing fashion losing by five points.

Loman’s reached their first Leinster final after a two-point victory but Corofin and Castlebar were made go to extra time.
