PIC: Westmeath’s most famous One Directioner shows his support ahead of Leinster final

Never doubted him

Kevin McGillicuddy

‘Yop Westmeath

He won’t be there in person but he’ll be there in spirit.

Westmeath’s most famous son, after Michael O’Leary that is, of course is Niall Horan, and the pop star has been showing his support for Westmeath this weekend with his county jersey and an Irish rugby player.

Horan is currently away with his ‘band’ One Direction, but he’s managed to find a fellow Westmeath man to share his passion for the Lake County with.

Conor Gilsenan is a former Irish U20’s rugby player who’s now at London Irish, and the two lads appear to be really up for the game on Sunday against Dublin.

We guess after this post from Horan that the support for Westmeath jerseys among One Direction fans has just gone through the roof .
