Pic: This Fingal hurler takes no prisoners as he tackles man and balls at same time

Is he sanding the bás or what

Can I help you with something?

Hurling is not for the faint of heart. Anyone who has ever taken to the field in any sort of game, be it at underage or senior, knows that there are certain unwritten rules. Pulling across the hands is a big no-no, using the handle to puck someone in the ribs is not on and sticking your hurl in between the legs of your opponent is, you’ve guessed it,the biggest taboo of all.

Well, it seems that this Fingal hurler didn’t get the message as it appears that his hurl somehow got wedged between the coccyx cushions of Fermanagh full-forward Declan McGarry this afternoon during today’s Allianz league clash in Brewster Park

The image was captured by  Trevor Lucy and has sparked some interesting theories as to what he might be doing with the hurl in a rather sensitive area.

H/T to Trevor Lucy
